If it is an Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot penetrator with a carbide tip tungsten, no. If it is a common .50 caliber Browning M2 HMG round, as is commonly used in the model Barret sniper rifle 82, no. The Bradley would have to be equipped with the compound expensive Chobham armor. And as the latest reports from Iraq said, U.S. troops deposits are scrounging for scrap steel to increase the armor of his Hummer and other vehicles because the Defense Department is too cheap to properly equip the vehicle. The .50 caliber was developed specifically as an anti-munitions armor.
